We ARE responsible for our health
The air we breathe is essential for life. This same air is potentially a steady source of contamination that can negatively affect your health and cause disease. Buildings and homes are being constructed much more "air-tight" than in the past in an effort to become more energy efficient. Unfortunately the "air-tight" structure may have increased levels of contaminant in the air in comparison to the outside air. Canadians spend 90 percent of their time indoors and it is therefore important that the indoor air quality be monitored and steps taken to ensure a healthy environment is maintained. In this section, several links to articles articles have been provided to inform you and assist you in achieving this goal. |
